Cooking Class on Saturday 15 July 2017

Come to Aida Camp on Saturday 15 July 2017  (10am-3pm) and learn how to cook the delicious “Ouzi”, a festival of spices and flavors.

The price is 85NIS

All proceeds from the classes will go to support 13 families from Aida and Al-Azzeh camps who have children with disabilities.

 

The menu includes the following:345

  • Arabic salad Home made yogurt
  • Harissa (a tender and moist coconut yoghurt cake with almonds)
  • Arabic tea and coffee

Ramadan Kareem to All Of You!!

Ramadan kareem!

The holy month of Ramadan is here! This is a very special time of the year for Muslims. We fast to be closer to Allah and to share the hardships of those who are poor and do not have enough food to eat.

Share our traditions during this month and experience the magic of Ramadan with our families in Aida and al-Azzeh refugee camps!

Come, alone or with friends, to have iftar* with us and discover all the different foods and delicious flavours with which we break our fast. You’re going to love this experience!

*Iftar (إفطارliterally “breakfast”), refers to the evening meal during the month of Ramadan when Muslims break their fast at the time of sunset.

Who? Anyone, alone or with friends, interested in eating delicious food in good company and in learning more about Islam and Ramadan.

When? Any day of Ramadan, from 27 May- 24 June.

At what time? In the evening, from 7:00pm until 9:00pm (approximately)
(please note that during Ramadan public transportation connecting Bethlehem with Jerusalem, Ramallah, Hebron and Jericho runs before and after iftar until late at night)

Where? At Aida and al-Azzeh refugee camps, Bethlehem. 

How much? The contribution is 85  NIS per person to be paid to the host family (80% of the proceeds go to support the family and 20% go to support the project).
